Examine the ethical and compliance requirements of funding organizations and provide assistance and advise to the Research Grants and Projects Office (RGPO) and to the scientists at the Weizmann Institute on compliance and ethical requirements related to the submission and management of research grants.
Responsibilities include:
*Examining the ethical requirements relating to the various research grants and offering guidance and advice to scientists and to the RGP team.
* Providing assistance with compliance requirements and their examination with the relevant bodies in the institute or with external funding organizations (mainly Federal and EU agencies), in order to meet the requirements of these funding bodies.
Requirements: *Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (or equivalent) required.
*Prior legal experience in the US or in one of the EU countries, or experience in legal work with federal agencies in the US or with the EU - an advantage.
*Experience with research grant applications in general, and with those relating to grants from US federal agencies and European Commission (Horizon 2020) - an advantage.
*Experience with MS Office and use of databases.
*English at mother-tongue level (reading and writing), Hebrew at good level.
