Production Planner

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating production of the company’s products.
• Determine raw materials, equipment, and manpower needed to cover production demand.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Schedule shifts and workers to provide proper coverage and assign workers to particular production operations.
• Monitor costs and prepare performance reports to ensure the production process is completed on time and within budget.
• Report on the production status and any production issues to upper management.
• Address issues in production with minimum disruption.
• Identify and develop opportunities and changes to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proven experience as a production planner with a minimum of five years in industrial companies only with local big factories (at least ten machines).
• Willing to travel twice a week to the factory located in Ma’alot.
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Experience in MRP (manufacturing resource planning).
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Math, statistics, and analytical skills.
• Deadline driven.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to work and motivate all levels of employees.
• Good English skills.
