Company:

Through the Doctorpedia platform, we provide physicians with easy-to-use publishing tools so they can create engaging articles and videos that will help educate their current patients, reach new patients, and improve medical literacy. We work with physicians and medical providers to harness the high-quality video content that we create with and for them in digital marketing campaigns to drive new patients to their practices. Physicians and institutions subscribe to our service using a SaaS style arrangement whereby they choose from a selection of packages that contain varying numbers of videos and new leads.

Responsibilities:

The right candidate will be an experienced leader responsible for directing our organization’s sales team to meet and exceed their goals. You will work with the senior executive team to determine and set those sales goals for the month, quarter, year, and beyond, and create strategies to reach them. You will also play an essential role in hiring, training, and developing new members of the sales team, as well as managing the budgets for their department.

The role requires both leadership skills, an insight into market trends, and the ability to bring those both together to manage a successful sales force.

Your role will involve:

  • Developing strategies relating to the company’s market, products, services, and sales goals.
  • Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Working with executives to determine and execute sales plans to meet organizational needs.
  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
  • Performing day-to-day oversight and management of the sales team
  • Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and motivating the sales teams to achieve their goals.
  • Setting and managing sales department budgets
  • Tracking, analyzing, and presenting sales metrics to senior leadership
  • Facilitating current client relationships and working to grow new ones
  • Analyzing market trends and planning sales strategies accordingly
  • Reviewing customer activity, anticipating their needs, and improving overall satisfaction.

Education and Background:

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • A Master's degree in a business-related field may be advantageous.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience and a strong track record of success in both sales and senior leadership, preferably in the medical field.
  • Previous success in building, scaling and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Robust leadership abilities and an innovative, entrepreneurial attitude
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
  • Knowledge of and insight into market trends
  • A team player that thrives in helping others succeed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
