Purchase and Import regional manager

Looking for a full time employee ( purchase and import regional manager of the import department) for the chain of furniture stores in Jerusalem ( Talpiot)

The candidate will have to:

• Coordinate with the logistics, purchase, accounting, and sales departments, work with foreign companies: place orders
• Communicate with the various institutions in Israel, such as shipping companies, customs, etc
• Manage and follow up on the import stages: checking and updating the terms and status of the shipments at maritime companies, forwarders, and customs agents. Updating the information in * the system
• Arrange delivery of containers to the warehouse, and check the inventory reception reports
• Keep e-mail communication with supplies and other companies,  Excel reports, etc.

Requirements:

1) Experience in work in Import/ purchase

2) Experience in working with foreign companies ( supplies)

3) Knowledge and experience in the field of maritime transport and customs documents is an advantage

4) Knowledge of SAP - a significant advantage.

5) Good level of Office software usage ( including Excel)

6) Languages: English, Hebrew ( can be a new immigrant of 2-3 years, ready to learn)
