Photographing Square Photos of Jerusalem with a Smartphone
For kids ages 10-16
April 6-9
10:00am - 1:00pm
1200 NIS course fee, 150 NIS material fee
(Limited to 12 students)
Instructor: Judah S. Harris
Smartphones offer an available camera to beginners and advanced photographers alike. Though not a substitute for real cameras (for a variety of reasons), they are powerful creative tools. We'll photograph exclusively square-shaped photos, in different Jerusalem neighborhoods, learning the importance of composition, shapes and form, light and shadow, and which moment is the right moment to click the shutter and take a picture. Students will learn how to choose the best photos from the many they take, and there will be opportunity to share their photos in a class whatsapp group. Each student will also receive three photo prints (25cm x 25cm) of their three favorite images, that can be displayed and shared with family and friends.
Smartphone with quality camera required for class. Consult with the instructor, Judah S. Harris (E: [email protected], WhatsApp: 050-301-1648).
