Security and Linux Engineer
Description:
Working with an operations team of highly skilled system and network engineers
Implement security projects on various server and networking infrastructure
Responsible for maintaining security/software/patch updates
Managing the ongoing review of security logs/scans
Installation, monitoring and maintenance of hardware and software
Writing of scripts to automate jobs/processes
Working with a remote team located in Israel
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience working on security initiatives (ie implementing ISO 27001 technical controls)
5+ years’ experience in system administration (primarily Linux)– supporting a production environment
Must be a team player with initiative, ability to work independently and be able to see complex projects through to their completion.
Scripting in at least one language (bash/perl/python)
Experience with deployment and debugging of complex applications
Experience with databases including MySQL & mongodb
Experience with cloud based services & virtualization (AWS, VMWare)
Experience with networking and security concepts including Juniper Firewalls
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
