Job Description: The Project Assistant will collaborate closely with the Project Coordinator and Executive staff, in overseeing projects from their conceptualization to successful execution. This dynamic role encompasses diverse responsibilities including time management, and project scope alignment. This is a part-time position, blending office-based and remote work and non-standard working hours as to be in touch with students from all over the world.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to facilitate the progress of the projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful project outcomes.

  2. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with project participants, alumni and partners, both in Israel and internationally, enhancing collaboration and engagement.

  3. Participant Recruitment: Assist in efforts for recruiting and engaging participants, building connections on university campuses and other Jewish organizations, both in Israel and in the diaspora.

  4. Social Media and Outreach Assistance: Support social media, marketing, and outreach activities to enhance project visibility and engagement.

  5. Effective Communication: Demonstrate outstanding communication skills by maintaining open and consistent communication with staff and leadership, as well as with partners and donors, fostering a collaborative and informed environment.

  6. Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, contributing insights to clarify project requirements and drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Work experience of 2 - 4 years in project coordination, administration, or related roles

  • Fluent English and Hebrew in both speaking and writing

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Flexibility to adapt to office-based, remote work, and non-standard working hours.

  • Proficiency in social media management and outreach strategies is a plus.

  • Previous experience in building relationships within Jewish educational institutions and communities is a plus.
