ABOUT:
Pantry Packers maintains a packing plant in Jerusalem where visitors and tourists partner in its efforts by helping to pack food staples which are then included in crates to needy Israeli households. Pantry Packers is the food distribution arm of Colel Chabad, the oldest continuously operating network of social services in Israel, established in 1788.
POSITION & LOCATION:
Hybrid (Talpiot- Jerusalem and WFH)
Full Time 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, (40 hours/ week)

OBJECTIVE:
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with donors capable of giving between $1,000 and $5,000+ annually.
- Enhance Giving: Through relationship building encourage donors to increase both the amount and frequency of their contributions through various giving opportunities.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and Preparation:
- Conduct research to assess the donation capacity of individuals prior to their arrival at Pantry Packers.
- Utilize available tools and Salesforce to gather relevant information on potential donors.
- On-Site Engagement:
- Actively engage with individuals on the Pantry Packers floor who have the potential to make significant contributions.
- Build rapport and establish connections through meaningful interactions during their visit.
- Relationship Building:
- Maintain ongoing communication with past visitors through phone calls and emails to foster long-term relationships.
- Personalize interactions to align with the interests and giving history of each donor.
- Data Management:
- Accurately log all conversations and interactions with donors in Salesforce
- Use established methods to implement the moves management process.
COLLABORATION:
Report to the Director of Pantry Packers to coordinate donor engagement efforts.
Collaborate with the Major Gifts Officer to align strategies for major donor interactions.
Work closely with the Donor Relations Team, ensuring alignment with overall fundraising goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of individuals.
- Proficiency in research and data management tools.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field is preferred.
- Native English, basic conversational Hebrew, Spanish a plus
