Position: Office Manager

Location: Old City, Jerusalem

Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 9:00-14:00 (hours are at times flexible)

Description:

A Yeshiva in the Old City of Jerusalem is seeking an Office Manager.

You will work to help our office run in a smooth and seamless manner. You will fill a very dynamic and fast-paced role that will include a wide range of responsibilities from general office management tasks to assisting the Director and Rosh Yeshiva and other management in various needs. If you are the type of person who is detail oriented and likes rolling up his/her sleeves to get things done, then this position is a great match for you.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for care and maintenance of physical office space.
  • Coordinating guest arrivals, including parking arrangements and greeting guests.
  • Receiving deliveries.
  • Taking phone calls
  • Light administrative duties from faxing and photocopying
  • Assist Roshei Yeshiva and other Rebbe and administrative staff.

Requirements

● Hebrew (at a high functioning level) and English at mother-tongue level are required.

● Super reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.

● Very organized.

● A 'Rosh Gadol'. Someone who knows how to get things done efficiently even when challenging.

● Flexibility is a MUST; the ability to occasionally work extra hours in afternoon/evenings (sometimes with short-notice).

● Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic role that can be unpredictable yet rewarding!

● Team player

● Experience with communicating with vendors and suppliers

● Experience with billing and collections from clients

● Well versed in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)

● Experience with Canva and Social Media Posting is a plus.

● Well-versed in Google Docs and DropBox.

● Experience in office management is a plus.

● Must have strong people skills
