Key responsibilities:
Perform electrical characterization tests as part of competitive product analysis
Preform V&V test on our internal devices and prototypes using our custom-built testing
systems
Preform Thermal and thermographic testing of products and prototype
Preform Bench testing of various types to support product development
Perform Safety related tests on products and prototypes
Document the conduct of above tests
Log and archive results of experimental tests
Manage and record an archive of tested samples (products or prototypes)
Manage inventory of test equipment
Help to create and make new test equipment and test related fixtures (both mechanically and electronically)
Required skills
Basic understanding of electronic circuits
Basic understanding of electronic principles and calculation
Ability to read basic electronic schemes
Ability to read basic mechanical schemes
Assembly (both electrical and mechanical)
Previous work with testing equipment - advantage
English at a high proficiency level (reading, writing and speaking)
High organizational skills
Education requirements
Practical engineer in either electronics, mechanics or software engineering- advantage
Technician in engineering certificate or previous experience in a relevant subject(CAD, electronic assembly, electronic testing)
