SHORT FILM: The Day Before Purim: Jerusalem Scenes

If the light rail train conductor in Jerusalem is dressed up with a costume wig and tie, there must be a reason. He joins all the others making appearances on the day before Purim with their funny costume hats, rabbit ears, and Purim spirit.

This short film by photographer and filmmaker Judah S. Harris makes brief stops in the Shuk (Jerusalem's large market), at a well-stocked costume shop in Geula, observes a paint activity at First Station, and meets up with a soldier from the Nachal Brigade who just finished a week of training and shares the mishloach manot food package (but not only food) that was given out to every soldier in the elite unit of the brigade.
