Head of Social Media

OpenDor Media (ODM) is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Social Media to join our team. This role will shape and execute a strategy to expand the reach of the Unpacked social media channels.

The ideal candidate should have a knack for storytelling, a deep understanding of GenZ culture and digital trends, and believe in the mission of OpenDor Media.

We are looking for someone who loves social media, an out-of-the-box thinker, and someone who’s going to own and lead our channels across social platforms. This is a remote full-time position based either in the U.S. or Israel.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the creation and production of engaging and growth-focused social media content, including copy, graphics, and video (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
• Manage a small team of content creators and freelancers, including their performance, development, and workflow
• Monitor analytics to identify trends, evaluate performance, and refine strategies
• Become a champion of Unpacked’s community ensuring our content is focused on their needs
• Develop relationships and create opportunities for collaboration with influencers

What you have:

• Proven experience in content creation for social media platforms, particularly vertical video
• Proven experience in organically growing social channels that have a minimum of 100k followers
• 5+ years of experience in social media and content creation, with a strong portfolio of work that showcases your creative flair and innovative approach
• Minimum 2 years experience in managing a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment

Our target salary range for this position when based in Israel is 16,000 - 18,000 NIS/month. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience in similar roles, and expertise related to the qualifications.
