Part Time Freelance Social Media Manager

About Us

We are a web design and marketing agency that supports both 3rd party projects and our own in-house ventures. We are a small team where every person can make a big difference, and one of our biggest values is treating everyone with respect. If you like working on multiple projects, if you’ve been called a jack of all trades (either accusingly or admiringly), this position could be great for you.

Right now, a part time position would suffice to cover our workload, but we’re hoping to expand into more and more projects as we delight our customers. You get to work remotely at whichever time works best for you, all we’d need is the occasional meeting to touch base and regular updates on Slack about your progress.

Role requirements would include:

• Creating simple graphics on Canva
• Coordinating the creation of graphics by graphic artists, per your guidelines
• Scheduling posts on multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Developing strategic relationships via social media by following influencers, joining specific conversations, or direct messaging certain users. (we have an admin who can help you with some of these tasks, you’d be supervising their work)
• Posting to groups and replying to direct messages.
• Setting up and managing ad campaigns
• Setting up email marketing campaigns (yes, it’s not technically social media!)
• Monitoring the performance of posts and campaigns to optimize content
• Providing regular updates to stakeholders about progress and stats

Compensation:

$25 an hour, with a current rough workload estimate of 1 hour a day.
