Director of Teen Educational Tourism Initiative

Start date: Spring 2022

Location: Jerusalem-based + work-from-home hybrid model (may require occasional travel abroad and within Israel)

Mosaic United represents a joint strategic partnership between the State of Israel and global Jewry to strengthen Jewish identity and connection to Israel among the next generation of Jews around the world. Mosaic brings together established and new Jewish organizations across fields of engagement, equips them with funding and other resources, and challenges them with educational standards to expand the breadth and depth of their programming.

The Teen Travel Pillar seeks to revitalize the Israel teen travel market and position high-quality and high-impact Israel trips as a rite of passage for every Jewish teen. The Pillar seeks to significantly grow participation in Israel travel programs among under-engaged Jewish teens from around the world by offering substantial vouchers. In addition, the Pillar will ensure the highest educational standards before, during, and after trips – and will incentivize innovation and development of new experiences by youth-serving organizations and trip providers. The Pillar will begin working with teens from the United States and then expand to include teens from countries around the world by enlisting additional philanthropic support and strategic partners.

This position is an opportunity to join a young company with a lean, start-up culture in the non-profit space, which offers a competitive salary, strong benefits, a professional and passionate team of colleagues, and a chance to meaningfully impact the Jewish people and Israel.
