SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER
Skills and responsibilities:
- Must be able to work with other team members to strategize and develop social media marketing campaigns
- Use social media marketing tools to maintain company’s digital brand
- Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
- Assist team members in digital analysis for marketing plans and social media strategy. Identify weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements.
- Able to research social media trends and make informed changes that are relevant to the company’s industry.
- Potential candidate should be able to create 3-4 social media posts per week for Flower Turbines, Inc.
- Monitoring ongoing social and cultural conversation to identify content opportunities and act through copy, photography and/or graphic design
- The social media account manager should have intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva.
Education and/or Experience:
- Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working on social media or content creation for a brand or agency
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related discipline preferred
- 1-2 years of photography and/or graphic design preferred
- Highly adept in posting to social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
- Impeccable copywriting skills and the ability to identify key words required
- Experienced in professional writing structure and knowledge, ability to flex between formal and informal writing styles
- Very strong Mac and/or PC software/OS proficiency
Availability:
- This position is part-time, but can become full-time
- The candidate ideally will be available for social media meetings each Tuesday at 1 p.m. CST to discuss social media projects and plan for upcoming social media campaigns.
