Gush Etzion/Jerusalem PR firm seeks junior PR executive
A small (but rapidly growing) Gush Etzion/Jerusalem PR firm is seeking a junior PR executive to assist providing services to current PR clients, and help expand with new clients. This position is approx. 1/4 time with potential for growth.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be fluent in Hebrew and English
- Candidate must possess journalistic-level writing skills in English (Hebrew a big plus)
- Experience writing press releases, letters to donors, proficiency working with on-line newsletter blast programs (writing, formatting, graphics, etc.) – all a must
- Strategic social media planning and post design (FB, Instagram other) required
- Previous professional PR experience a big plus
- Previous experience in website (WordPress) backend management a big plus
- Most clients are pro-Israel advocacy and non-profit organizations. Candidate must be able to passionately get the clients' message across to journalists, supporters, current donors, and target audiences
- Translating skills (Hebrew to English and English to Hebrew) a big plus
- This is not a 9-5 job. Clients sometimes must reach the media, or their target audiences in the evenings, Friday mornings, or Sat. nights. Flexibility is required
- Vast majority of the work can be done remotely. Occasional team meetings, and client meetings as well
