A beauty company is seeking a Social Media Manager (Europe). This person will work daily alongside the Digital/Social Media team to manage the company’s Instagram channel, local agencies, and distributors including organic and paid social media and content for our International markets.
This person should have excellent communication skills and an interest and passion in social media. This person should have a pulse on what’s going on with Social Networks, digital influencers community, trending social content, and the beauty industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the FB & IG Handles: Content, Publishing, etc.
- Manage the day-to-day with local Digital/Social agencies in the market (Monthly Calls aligning on social strategy, Social calendar approval, and content creation all under specific KPIs).
- Manage digital ad campaigns for European markets, coordinating with local agencies and company teams
- Strategizing marketing budget distribution based on the marketing calendar.
- Manage Europe IG channel.
- Oversee three local markets the company’s IG handles.
- Develop a plan for social activations, sweepstakes, and growth tactics by market launches & focuses.
- Work with Marketing, PR, E-Commerce, Education, and Design teams to support 360 launch plans & go-to-market strategies.
- Work alongside the PR/Influencers team on the creation and implementation of influencer campaigns and review and monitor the success of influencer campaigns.
- Lead analytics tracking of social activities both internally and externally – monthly growth, campaign performance, etc.
- Develop ideas to come up with innovative and unique ways to engage with consumers and stylists on social.
Requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of similar experience in Social Media Management.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, communications, marketing, public relations, media studies, and/or related fields.
- MUST: Native-level English, written and verbal (or level of fluency). Extra language bonus.
- Digital and/or social platform management.
- Able to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams or individually.
- Social media expertise, passionate about social media, up to date on the latest trends.
- Analytical and data-driven approach.
- Time management and prioritization.
- Attention to detail, organized, proactive, and takes initiative.
- Video editing tools are a strong plus.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Thrives in an international environment.
