Are you sick of not being able to hold a real conversation in Hebrew? Are you tired of feeling clueless at the Shuk? The bank? Work meetings? Are you spending all your time with Anglos and wishing someone would help you practice your Hebrew?

Rak B’Ivrit is here to help! After twelve successful semesters, several new Hebrew Language and Culture groups start in November, led by Bracha Zornberg. Bracha was born and bred in Israel (but is in touch with the Anglo flavor), and is experienced at teaching Hebrew to all ages. Once or twice a week (depending on your schedule and dedication), for a 1-1.5 hour session, you will have no choice but to speak and interact in Hebrew only.

In small, intimate groups, we dramatize common situations of life in Israel – the bus, cafes, the shuk, etc., learn some slang, listen to the radio, become familiar with Israeli songs and singers. Most importantly, our focus is conversation, from cooking to politics to the meaning of life. All this – Rak B’Ivrit!

As Marian Segal, a Rak B’Ivrit student put it, “I enjoy the conversational approach to the lessons… it’s more fun and more interesting, because the group is talking about what they want to talk about…the atmosphere of the class and the lessons is very upbeat and fun. It’s like a ‘social hour’”.

Ma Hanezek (or, How much will it cost me?) Only 65 NIS per weekly session, or 60 per bi-weekly session.

Where? Talpiot-Arnona

When? Based on the schedules and Hebrew levels of the first students to register.

How long? The semester runs for four months, November-February

Trial lessons and registration will take place in the next two weeks. Each group is limited to 4 participants, so call now!

Private lessons available too.

If you would like to talk to people who have participated in the course in the past, please contact me for their phone numbers.
