Quality Assurance Engineer

A Jerusalem-based company specializing in inertial components for the security market seeks a QA Engineer. You'll help us reach our strategic goals and develop automated V&V tests for multiple products. You'll support our QA practices and collaborate with various teams, ensuring compliance with global QA standards.

Role Responsibilities:

• Software V&V: Develop testing solutions for embedded software, test systems and communication protocols using Python and internal tools.
• Test Design and Execution: Help drive our shift from manual to automated validation, working closely with development and production teams.
• Hands-On Testing: Utilize electronic test equipment throughout the testing process, troubleshooting and validating code and protocols.
• Organizational QA: Support QA practices across teams to ensure compliance with global ISO and MIL-STD standards.
• Onsite work in Jerusalem.

Qualifications:

• 1–2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Bachelors in computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering (final semester acceptable).
• Proficiency in python, pytest, and test infrastructures.
• Strong communication skills, and a quality-driven mindset.
• Hands-on testing experience in complex systems.
• Advantage: software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB), knowledge of ISO-9001:2015, knowledge of communication protocols (TCP-IP, RS422, RS485), and experience with production environments, electronics and mechanical equipment.
