This solid wood cable reel is perfect as a table and can be painted and transformed into a piece of creative beauty with very little effort. It has been used with a table cloth on our mirpeset for a while and we are now moving, so won’t get to complete our plan to transform it into a beautiful piece of furniture. (See photos of examples of what people have done with this type of item). But, if you wish to simply use it “as is” it is very useful as a table. It is sturdy and handy. Sits well on our mirpeset or if you have yard space, it would be great as a summer/fall place to gather with family or friends.
