The Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching and Student Affairs Administrator to join the Division of Summer Courses and Special Programs.
Position Description:
- Providing ongoing frontal service, and answering calls and emails of potential applicants and students regarding courses and programs offered by the division.
- Advising students of the division and facilitating their registration process.
- Registering students to courses, reporting grades, and administering exams.
- Issuing student enrollment confirmations and transcripts.
- Collecting and keeping track of requests for scholarships.
- Building schedules for courses and programs taking place throughout the academic year.
- Communicating with different divisions at the Rothberg International School, faculties and officials of the Hebrew University, academic institutions, lecturers, and officials from other universities in Israel and abroad.
- Providing academic and administrative assistance to the Division’s faculty.
- Handling payments for guest lecturers and ordering office supplies for the Division staff.
- Coordinating, monitoring, and implementing of special programs of the Division.
- Aiding with the coordination of academic field trips and extracurricular activities, ceremonies, and events involving different parties in coordination with the Office of Student Life at the Rothberg International School.
- Updating the Division’s website course and program pages.
- Assisting with the Division’s marketing material.
- Assisting with additional tasks per the instruction of the supervisor.
Position Requirements:
- Academic degree.
- Prior administrative experience.
- Experience in academic and student affairs – advantage.
- Experience in computerized systems and full proficiency of Microsoft Office programs and the Internet.
- Very good level of written and oral expression of the Hebrew language, and native-level of the English language.
- Readiness to work additional hours as required.
- High level of service awareness, responsibility, initiative, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good interpersonal skills.
Scope: Full-time.
