Recommendations:
My first novel was published traditionally, but I decided to self-publish the next one. I had a very small budget and so decided to forgo professional editing, trusting in my own abilities and those of my beta readers. In the end, however, I turned to Henry Tobias for editing services and was glad I had. Though Henry was the last of eight people to read my manuscript, he found errors that the rest of us had missed, regarding both language and historical references (he even provided sources). The biggest embarrassment he spared me was having twice used the wrong surname for one of my minor characters. So I can highly recommend Henry. He is fast, has an excellent eye for detail, and his criticism is always constructive. Dear Henry,
Thank you so much for the brilliant work you did on my latest story. Your editing skills have proved invaluable, and I now feel confident enough to re-send this particular piece to my agent.
Best wishes, Helen Kreeger.
Hi Henry,
I'm glad you enjoyed reading my sample. The Grumpy Bear entry is actually six weeks in, so I apologize for it being out of context. Regardless, you did a fabulous job editing this while holding my vision and voice.
