Job Description:
The technical supporter is responsible for providing ongoing multidisciplinary service, by telephone or in the field, to all technological end units and to the entire organization – the divisions and their employees, the division’s staff, and guests. The position includes performing additional tasks according to the needs of the department.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Providing technological support services.
- Establishment, operation, and maintenance of all hardware systems – computing and peripheral equipment, telephony (IP system).
- Assistance in operating systems, including the backup system.
- Providing troubleshooting services to all end users in the organization, both by phone at the helpdesk center and face-to-face in the field.
- Support for all computing and telephone systems.
- Routing faults between the staff members in the department. Referral of troubleshooting to professionals within the department and accompanying the malfunction until it is resolved.
- Support for multimedia systems.
- Support for corporate email mobile apps for our employees.
- Studying new systems, providing support and training in administrative systems, and ongoing support in software tools developed in the IT department that meet specific needs.
Requirements:
- A degree in the field of computer science or a relevant technological education.
- Multidisciplinary knowledge in hardware, software, and service – both in the field of multimedia and in the field of computing.
- Knowledgeable in: Windows operating systems, handling hardware equipment, locating and repairing malfunctions of peripheral equipment (printers, scanners, projectors), supporting office software, a basic understanding of communication networks, advantage for those with experience.
- Practical experience and working in Active Directory and granting permissions is an advantage.
- Good English.
- Courtesy and ability to provide service.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to study independently.
