Job Opening: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a Group of Companies in the E-commerce and Retail Pharmacy Space.
Company Overview: We are a well-established and rapidly growing group of companies operating at the intersection of e-commerce and retail pharmacies. Our group includes both an online e-commerce platform that sells globally as well as a number of brick-and-mortar pharmacies in Israel specializing in medical cannabis.
As we continue to innovate, expand, and evolve, we are seeking an experienced CFO to join our team and manage our financial success.
Responsibilities: The CFO will be responsible for all financial management including cash management and reporting.
- Lead and manage the finance department including a team of bookkeepers and accountants.
- Ensure efficient financial operations that help the company meet its growth targets.
- Optimize cash flow and manage working capital.
- Provide clear dashboard and data reporting to the CEO and management.
- Create clear financial processes and structure.
- Work closely with auditors to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Evaluate and advise on potential investment opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and other financing options both in Israel and abroad.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of financial management principles and accounting standards.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail pharmacy business models.
- Demonstrated track record in driving financial performance and growth and specific experience with cash management.
- Proactive and, adaptable, and fixes problems before they arise.
- Must be fluent in English, some Hebrew is required.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in Bet Shemesh and will require occasional travel to other company sites or for business-related purposes.
