Project Manager -Maternity leave replacement
ASPER HUJI Innovate - The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Hebrew University, is looking for a project manager replacement during maternity leave.

The center promotes the university as a supportive environment for entrepreneurship, imparts entrepreneurial thinking and tools to students and researchers and accelerates the development processes of technological start-ups and social enterprises.
Job description
The project manager leads projects at the ASPER-HUJI Innovate Center. The job includes all the elements of the projects - from planning and building an action plan to achieve the goals, budget and schedule management for the project, logistics, concentration and coordination of relevant content (with the center's content manager), managing collaborations and communication with project partners (academic institutions, government bodies, business companies, and social organizations) and work with the center's marketing department to make sure the publications come out according to plans.
The work is done according to a pre-arranged and known work plan with pre-defined goals and budgets.
In addition, the project manager will join the center's management team and work in coordination with the managers of the various departments.
The projects planned for the replacement period:
Management of the JLM-Impact hackathon: The management of the annual hackathon of the JLM-Impact Association, which is part of the Hebrew University, Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, and Azrieli College. The hackathon focuses on the challenges that arise in the city of Jerusalem and is held in partnership with the municipal bodies, the social sector, and the business sector. 200 students are expected to attend the hackathon. The project manager will lead the definition of the hackathon theme and challenges, work with the VP of recruiting the partners, work with an external production company to manage all the logistical aspects, and manage the communication with the participants, judges, mentors, and partner bodies and work with the center's marketing department. Affiliate Program Management: Management of entrepreneurial programs that the center runs for various affiliates. In these frameworks, the project manager will, together with the center's management, select the most appropriate content, coordinate with lecturers from the center, coordinate the preparation of materials and work with the partners in meeting their needs (e.g. Questions, etc.)
Preparations for the Asper Prize competition: Starting in December, preparations for the Asper Prize competition will go into gear, including - setting schedules and budgets for the project, recruiting judges, finding candidates, preparing materials for the Asper Foundation approval, and concentrating on the marketing materials preparation process. Required skills & experience -
Skills:
Entrepreneurship and creativity: Internal motivation to initiate, motivate and lead processes, with high planning and execution ability alongside the ability to find effective solutions to problems.
Leadership: Motivation and desire to lead people and make them bring out the best in themselves along with a high ability to stand in front of an audience and convey messages
Team player: Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to connect with people, and a real interest in supporting the success of others.
Convenience with management using digital tools: Ability to work with task management systems, budget, and organizational communication (GSuite, Airtable, Office) and ability to learn new systems quickly
Education: Bachelor's degree at least
Language: Hebrew and English at a very high level
Experience required:
Experience in managing complex projects with multiple partners
Experience in managing budgets
Experience in producing hackathons would be a significant advantage
Technical details:
Start work immediately.
The contract to replace the current project manager on maternity leave will end in December or after the project manager returns to work (whichever is later).
The work will be carried out from the Entrepreneurship Center of the Hebrew University in Givat Ram.
