TITLE: Visitor Experience Leader

LOCATION: Talpiot (Jerusalem)

POSITION: Full time: 40 hours/ week, 8 hrs/ day, Sunday - Thursday

(Certain days 8:30am- 4:30pm, and certain days 11:30am- 7:30pm).

Occasionally available to lead groups outside of regular hours.

PANTRY PACKERS:

Pantry Packers is the food distribution arm of Colel Chabad, the oldest continuously operating network of social services in Israel, established in 1788.

Pantry Packers maintains a packing plant in Jerusalem where visitors and tourists partner in its efforts by helping to pack food staples for needy Israeli households.

The core focus of Pantry Packers is to inspire everyone to give Tzedakah to help Israel’s needy through world-class Tzedakah experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide pleasant hands-on experience for visitors by managing, engaging & instructing the packing process to groups throughout the day
• Present about the organization in the media room towards the end of group visits
• Lead smooth production of the warehouse; plan ahead and set up for future groups
• Supervise visitors and ensure safe use of equipment; answer questions that arise
• Use database to take notes, thank visitors, and collaborate with team members
• Report to Operations Manager (to ensure smooth execution of daily operations) and Sales Manager (to ensure successful follow up and engagement)

REQUIREMENTS:

- Mother tongue English (necessary), very good level of Hebrew

- Experience in sales, fundraising, non-profit, or related field (a plus)

- Familiarity with North American Jewish communities (a plus)

- Comfortable speaking to groups of up to 50 people and sharing about our work

- Able to lift and move crates of about 25 kilos

- Solid customer service & communication skills; outgoing and friendly personality

- Positive, confident go-getter, with a passion to give, and values honesty & integrity

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Basic computer skills; knowledge of Salesforce (a plus)

SALARY:

Compensation is 50-55 NIS/ hour, commensurate with experience.
