Professor Menachem (Ralph) Marcus, is a US & Israel Board Certified Rheumatologist, with more than 45 years of clinical experience. Dr. Marcus is a noted expert in the treatment of arthritis and autoimmune connective tissue diseases and has special expertise in treating rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. He was a principal research investigator in more than 50 clinical trials for new drugs to treat arthritis, and he has published more than a dozen articles in medical journals. He has successfully used novel drugs in the treatment of scleroderma, interstitial lung disease, and other autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Marcus is one of the few Rheumatologists in Israel to use ultrasonography to help guide injections for Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and Arthritic Joints.
A graduate of Cornell University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Marcus completed his medical training at the Mount Sinai Hospital and the world-famous Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Rutgers RWJ Medical School (USA).
