A Jerusalem-based company is seeking a Research Engineer to work in Jerusalem, Har Hotzvim from 9 AM - 5 PM
Responsibilities:
· Research New Technologies: Innovate and master the physics and math behind ongoing projects.
· Data Analysis: Apply mathematical and physical principles to solve specific problems (not involving big data).
· Experiment Development: Utilize electronic test equipment to conduct experiments that enhance understanding of development phenomena.
· Proof of Concept & Design: Lead R&D efforts by developing algorithms and proof of concept for systems.
· Software Development: Create software for device and system development, primarily using Python, focusing on architecture, design, style, and efficiency.
· Device Design Participation: Engage in the design phase of electrical and mechanical devices, understanding their components.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following: Physics or Mathematics. An MSc. is a big advantage!
· Experience with applied physics and math.
· People person, happy to share knowledge and explain concepts.
· Problem solving – Riddle solving and thinking out of box.
· Coding – good knowledge of python, no unique experience required.
· Basic knowledge of different kinds of communication protocols (TCP-IP, RS422, RS485...).
Work Environment: Primarily onsite with some remote work.
