Position Overview:
Therapists are responsible for providing high-quality, virtually delivered IEP/school based School Psychology services to K-12 students.
Job responsibilities for Counseling School Psychologists:
- Provide direct mental health counseling services in both individual and group formats in accordance with the students’ mandated IEP or identified needs
- Conduct educationally related mental health assessments, file reviews, and FBAs as part of Special Education service determinations
- Complete progress monitoring documentation such as daily SOAP notes and quarterly progress reports
- Provide behavior interventions and/or SEL supports as part of a school based team
- Consult with parents and team members
- Serve as an IEP team member by attending meetings and submitting paperwork as needed to maintain compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines
- Additional opportunities are available for School Psychologists to complete psychoeducational evaluations as part of our assessment team
Required Qualifications:
- School Psychologist Certification (US License in one state)
- Minimum of 10 hours daytime availability
- Minimum of 1 year IEP experience (post master’s) working in a school-based setting
