Writer/Editor

We’re seeking a motivated, high-performance individual to join the team as a full-time Writer/Editor.
Editorial skills/ needs
- English-language writing at editorial level – A MUST (please submit writing samples for application to be considered);
- Firm grasp of Israel-related diplomatic/policy issues (e.g. Palestinian conflict, relationships with foreign governments/UN, BDS, Iran, etc...);
- Comprehensive knowledge of news outlets/sources;
- Strong ability to research relevant information;
- 2+ years of journalism/editing experience preferred; and
- Experience with scriptwriting, i.e.- producing short- and medium-length original videos -- a plus.
Technical skills
- Social media savvy with ability to create cross-platform posts (Twitter, Facebook, Youtube) -- A MUST
- Previous exposure to data analytics tools – a plus
- Adobe Premiere and/or Wochit experience – a plus
- Preparing and monitoring digital media marketing campaigns – a plus
Other skills
- Ability to recognize trending topics and pertinent ideas;
- Comfortable juggling multiple assignments while meeting deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Able to work independently.
