Data Analyst - Our Data Analyst will be a key member of our Data Science Team. They will develop a deep understanding of our company’s product, data sources, and data science methodologies. They will work with product managers, data scientists, and their team to develop strategies for successful data processing and integration.

Our Data Analyst is a highly motivated and analytical team player who lives and breathes data. Their goal is to perfect our data prediction models to ensure our clients can access the most comprehensive data on our research subjects.

In your role as a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Take on a “problem-solving” approach to the challenges we face in our complex big data environments and actualize their analytical insights.
  • Utilize bottom-up, story-based, innovative techniques to apply analytical know-how to our data analysis.
  • Plan and execute long-term projects from start to finish to improve our data infrastructure to support our data performance requirements
  • Work with the product team to develop cutting edge, scalable and innovative solutions to enhance the experience for our customers
  • Measure performance against OKRs and goals
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and peers across the company and share updates with the team in a clear manner
  • Build out and track our KPIs around data model performance and help define the data team’s long-term efforts to achieve the company and product’s goals around these KPIs.

What you bring with you

Must-haves:

  • Excellent SQL skills with experience in querying large, complex data sets – a must
  • Passion for data with strong analytical & technical skills
  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze a significant amount of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 2+ years of work experience in relevant positions (e.g. data analyst, decision scientist, statistician, FP&A, product/process manager, risk management, army intelligence units)
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in one of the following: statistics, engineering, exact sciences, economics, finance, etc. (MBA – an advantage)
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick-thinker, fast learner, problem solver

Advantages:

  • Skilled in Python/R – an advantage
  • Familiarity with BI tools e.g., Tableau
  • Experience with AWS solutions
  • Experience working with big data in a high scale environment
