Junior Underwriter /Analyst

Junior Underwriter /Analyst needed in Propella Capital at an energetic and fast growing company in the fintech sector! This position offers a great opportunity for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor with unlimited possibilities.

Role Description
Currently, we seek to hire a Junior Underwriter for our Office that will perform detailed, full-cycle underwriting for small businesses. The candidate will have the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing team in a fast-paced, work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze merchant’s bank and processing statements

• Review credit reports and background reports to determine degree of risk. Detect and investigate potential fraud
• Approving or Declining Candidates based upon companies criteria and stipulations

• Determine the ability of the client to repay financing based on analysis of the client’s cash flow statements, tax returns, and other financial information
• Utilize the company's proprietary software and models to competitively price approvals
• Any other duties required of the position

Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Office, etc. Excellent Knowledge of computers
• Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree (Financial experience may be considered in lieu of Degree)

Office Hours are 14:00 – 23:00 between Monday and Thursday; 4 hours on Friday - to be determined.

Location: work from home and office in Hod Hasharon (at least a couple of days a week in the office)
