Job Description: Book inventory management and responsibility for issuing the products bought. The position includes performing additional tasks according to the needs of the division.
Areas of Responsibility:
Warehouse and Inventory Management;
- Ongoing management of the section’s inventory including warehouse management, inventory handling, management and arrangement of the storage areas, sorting and arrangement of the goods in the warehouses, inventory counting and computerized tracking of the inventory, receiving goods from suppliers, and helping with loading and unloading, control of outgoing and incoming inventory.
- Delivery and transportation of books to the various points of sale in the complex.
Sales Concentration;
- Handling orders and deliveries- packaging of goods and regular follow-up of deliveries, handling and computerized tracking of book and product orders (typing orders, online and telephone sales, etc.)
- Providing customer service- handling customer inquiries by phone and e-mail.
- Sales assistance within the company and outside.
- Collection of payments.
Data Collection and Report Generation;
- Producing periodic reports.
- Monitoring the payment process and typing delivery certificates and sales certificates into the computerized system and coordinating with the finance department.
Requirements:
- 12 years of study and a matriculation certificate.
- Training in the field of logistics is an advantage.
- Hebrew at a high level.
- English at a good level.
- Proven work experience in a relevant position.
- Work experience in inventory management is an advantage.
- Full control of computer applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The ability and willingness to participate in strenuous physical work.
- Organizational ability, responsibility, and punctuality.
