In addition to having experience working with young men in yeshiva, the successful candidate will be passionate about learning, professional, a critical and creative thinker who is open to kashias and change, non-judgmental, compassionate, and encourage individual initiative.

The Role:

We are looking for a recruiter to recruit talmidim from Shana Beit programs in post high-school yeshivas in Eretz Yisrael, or chutz l’aretz.

Your principal responsibilities will be:

• Planning a recruitment calendar and organizing information sessions
• Meeting rabbonim in different yeshivas, developing a relationship with them, with the purpose of them referring appropriate talmidim to us
• Arranging a visit for our Rosh Yeshiva, Mashgiach, or appropriate Rebbe to speak in relevant yeshivas.
• Following up with potential talmidim
• Inviting and arranging relevant rabbonim from the relevant yeshivas to visit Bircas HaTorah, and potentially to speak in the yeshiva
• Directly interacting with potential talmidim and recruiting them

Desired Qualifications:

• Recruitment experience, preferable experience in recruiting 2nd Year + students
• A self-starter, the ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent relationship builder and communication skills
• Previous work in a yeshiva is a strong asset

Starting: Elul 5783

Hours: Part-time

Reports to the Executive Director
