Social Media Producer
i24NEWS is looking for a Social Media Producer to join our team.
You’ll be a crucial part of running day-to-day operations for multiple social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram), especially during primetime news hours (19:00-22:30)
This is a full-time position, working in shifts.
Responsibilities
• Engage audiences with dynamic, relevant content. Identify what's trending and newsworthy to connect with our community.
• Generate, edit, and publish content from our TV channel and website that will interest our audience and drive engagement.
• Follow live broadcasts and interviews and convert them for delivery on social media networks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to monitor output, follow trends, and make real-time editorial content decisions.
Requirements
* Native English speaker - must (additional languages - preferred)
* Experience and interest in the field of news and knowledge of current events
* Perfect grammar and communication skills required
* Ability to deliver creative content and make editorial decisions
* Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
* Strong familiarity with social media publishing tools, especially Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
* Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced media company
* Flexible hours
* Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, or journalism preferred
