Business Development & Legal Associate
A young and growing International product development company, with focus on the juvenile industry and sales in more than 70 countries, is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic team member to support international business development and legal activities.
Duties of the Business Development & Legal Associate include:
·Work closely with the company’s leadership on legal, biz-dev and strategic issues
·Support various international strategic projects locally and abroad
·Help coordinate the company’s Intellectual Property efforts (patents, designs, TMs, etc)
·Some international travel might be required
Position requirements:
·Academic degree in Law
·Familiarity and experience with international commercial contracts
·2-5 years of legal / business experience in an international environment
·Exceptionally strong English skills required (other languages an advantage)
·Strong ability to work independently and lead workstreams
·Additional degree in Business / Economics / Accounting – an advantage
·Understanding of Intellectual Property rights – an advantage
·Certification in law (Attorney) – an advantage
·Familiarity with international commerce – an advantage
