Kitchen Manager Melabev Talpiyot
Five hours a day, from 10:30 to 3:30
Ensuring food is heated and served and set up before meals and the kitchen is organized after meals.
Some dishwashing is involved; will be working with a lovely lady who does a lot of prep and clean up.
Lunch is catered. Menus need to be selected, when necessary, in Hebrew.
Weekly grocery orders need to be placed and light food prepared for breakfasts and dinners.
Fluency in Hebrew and English is necessary, as is:
Familiarity with food which is safe for geriatrics, or willingness to learn.
Willingness to work with staff and carers to facilitate individual diets and meal times as necessary.
Economical resource management is a plus, as is
Coordinating leftovers to be distributed to the needy via our volunteers
