Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated U.S.-licensed attorney with experience living or working in Israel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with Israeli-American clients and handling cases in areas such as immigration and family law. This role involves managing cases from consultation through resolution, with a focus on client retention and effective legal advocacy. Flexibility to work across other areas of law is also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to clients in immigration, family law, and other relevant legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and case investigations.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Offer consultations and guide clients through legal processes.
- Collaborate with local co-counsel in states where you may not be licensed.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear and consistent communication.
- Willingness to work across other areas of law, including but not limited to Corporate, Immigration, Family Law, Real Estate, Employment, and other cases.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- An active U.S. bar license in good standing (Required); additional state licenses are a plus.
- Experience living or working in Israel (Preferred).
- Fluency in Hebrew (Preferred but not required).
- Experience with U.S.-Israel business transactions, kosher certification regulatory compliance, Jewish community legal services, or similar fields (Preferred).
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relations abilities.
- No criminal history.
- Ability to work flexible hours and commit as many hours as possible per week.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $80.00 per hour (USD)
Expected Hours: 5 – 50 per week
