Naaleh College, a growing online college, is looking to hire a part-time assistant Academic Director to join its team.
Responsibilities:
a.Academic Advisement: Become very familiar with our degree options and be able to advise students on degree paths
b.Credit Evaluations: Review transcripts to determine credit transfers
c.Curriculum development: Be able to develop curriculum for college-level courses
d.Manage Faculty files: ensure faculty files are complete
e.Professional Development: Oversee faculty professional development
f.Technology: Assist with the academic component of the LMS
g. Academic Services: Build out academic services for students such as the library, writing center.
h.Assist the Academic director and Dean in managing the program and the faculty.
Requirements:
This position requires good communication skills, customer service, being a team player and self-motivation. Strong technology skills are a must. As Naaleh College is a growing organization, the candidate needs to be adaptable and flexible, able to take on tasks readily, be proactive, and solutions-oriented.
Candidates must have a master’s degree.
Previous experience in online learning a plus.
Previous experience in working in a college setting is a plus.
On-site in Beit Shemesh (remote during COVID, must have an American phone line and fast internet)
5 hours a day - must be between late afternoon and night, can be split (i.e. 3pm-6 and 10pm-12)
Compensation: $1540 a month, can be paid via direct deposit to American bank account or Israeli contractor company.
