Field Coordinator

Mayanot is looking for field coordinators for our Summer 2025 Birthright Israel programs. Coordinators are responsible for managing multiple groups at a time. You will travel throughout Israel as the representative of Mayanot. This fun, exciting, and highly rewarding job entails meeting and interacting with young Jews in Israel for their first time. This position is a short term, but “full time” position for the month of May with potential to continue into June. 

Candidates must be friendly, able to multi task, responsible, organized and work very well under pressure and with others. Previous experience in Birthright Israel is a plus!

Coordinators report directly to the Director of Field Operations and the Executive Director.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Coordinating several groups at a time
• Dealing with medical/emotional situations & emergencies
• Ensuring smooth operations of our trips (and quality control)
• Supporting operations staff, and looking after needs of USA & Israeli trip staff
• Travelling with and staying with groups all over Israel, including Shabbat
• Enforcing Rules & Regulations of Birthright Israel in the field

Candidates must have the following skills:

• Highly organized, reliable, and dependable
• Must be able to work under pressure and able to multitask
• Excellent people skills and able to work as part of a team
• Friendly, positive personality + strong communication skills
• Fluent English, proficiency in Hebrew a plus
• Must be at least 24 years old (rental cars)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving in Israel.
