The International Public Relations and Influencers Associate Manager is responsible for increasing brand awareness, protecting and improving corporate reputation, and supporting business growth on a global level by developing and executing effective integrated communication strategies and media relations programs.
This is a temporary position (for nine months, until October 2024).
Responsibilities:
- Develops annual International Public Relations strategy in conjunction with PR Agencies/Distributors to support marketing calendar, secure top-level media placement, and ensure premium brand positioning across all markets.
- Generate innovative PR campaigns and assets in support of new launches, integrated with other marketing channels (digital, social, search, etc), and communicate vision to all PR agencies.
- Plan and manage consumer advertising campaigns, briefing, and coordinating with local agencies.
- Manage PR Budgets for all respective markets to ensure optimal ROI.
- Plan and manage all global events, sponsorships, and brand partnerships including product launches, fashion week sponsorships, press trips, and influencer collaborations; identify new innovative, diverse, and digitally focused opportunities.
- Research and identify key influencers across all social media platforms.
- Manage relationships, help create content, and monitor performance.
- Manage paid influencer relationships, ensure timelines and deliverables are met; and develop and help negotiate robust contracts for talent.
- Research and hire new PR agencies and prospective third-party partners as needed; manage all global PR agencies.
- Develop messaging/storytelling strategy and PR assets to support it, including paid editorial/advertorials, press releases, presentations, newsflashes, and interviews.
- Manage global ambassadors and PR spokespeople.
- Review and modify international PR agency/partner/event contracts as needed, working cross-divisionally with digital and legal teams.
- Evaluate monthly PR results, oversee and produce reports measuring ROI and impact of PR activities, including influencer collaborations, identifying key activity, and outcome metrics demonstrating value.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, mid-year, and year-end analyses; maintain a key understanding of global industry trends affecting brands; make appropriate recommendations on communication strategies.
Desired Skills & Abilities:
- Two to four years of similar experience from PR agencies or international companies.
- Experience working with international companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, and/or related fields.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal. Other languages advantage.
- Passionate about PR, Influencers & the beauty industry.
- Proven experience working with PR agencies and influencers.
- Thrives in an international and corporate environment.
- Able to work in a team or individually.
