Rhino Eco is seeking a highly motivated sales development specialist (SDS) to play a critical role in scaling into the US market. If you are looking to develop your career in sales, with lots of future growth opportunities in a fast-growing and impactful startup, this is the job for you!

The ideal candidate has a winning mindset and animal instincts ( we're all rhinos here after all 😉), a never-ending positive attitude, an ability to work in a team-goal oriented environment, a proven track record in exceeding quota, a strong work ethic with an ability to suggest ideas and execute strategies.

A successful SDS is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, is well organized, multi-task, and comfortable contacting and speaking with everyone from solar vendors and service providers to homeowners and landlords, anything to get the next deal and keep the pipeline flowing.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to potential leads through cold calls and emails
  • Set up quality meetings and appointments
  • Move solid leads through marketing funnels to drive sales.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers and professional solar partners.
  • Build a solid sales process to spark meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Regularly follow-up and facilitate communication with existing customers to assess their satisfaction and identify new leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product team to meet the company's targets.
  • Replying to inbound leads with a focus on engaging and preliminarily qualifying prospect customers.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of inside sales, sales development, or business development experience, preferably within the Solar industry, with a proven track record of success
  • Native English – Must (read/write/speak)
  • Work in US east coast time (EST) - Must
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of sales development, lead generation practices, and principles
  • Previous experience or knowledge in the FinTech / SaaS / Solar industry (Advantage)
  • Salesforce experience - an advantage
