The Development and Public Affairs Division of Tel Aviv University is looking for a dynamic writer and editor to join its team. The role involves conceptualizing, writing and editing diverse materials in English for the purposes of fund-raising and PR. This is a full-time, in-house position with excellent conditions.
Job description:
- Writing content for the University’s website, print publications, and social networks
- Editing the University magazine, web articles, and other publications
- Leading the University’s social media strategy
- Giving input into other PR and marketing materials such as brochures and videos
- Supervising a small content team
Requirements:
- Relevant Undergraduate degree
- English at mother-tongue level a must
(reading, writing and speaking)
- Fluent Hebrew a must
- Minimum 3 years’ writing experience
- Proven editing experience of high-level publications
- Ability to translate diverse and complex activities into succinct and appealing prose
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and production, specifically Twitter and LinkedIn
- Proficiency in standard software such as PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word, etc.
- Experience working with graphic designers and graphic software - advantage
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Go-getter, detail-oriented and creative
