About Deal Boardroom
Deal Boardroom is a dynamic media company dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs through mergers and acquisitions (M&A). We host high-impact events like the DealCon CEO M&A Summit (www.dealconlive.com), run a 16-week M&A Accelerator, and foster a Mastermind Community known as the Advisory Board, led by Tom Shipley and Matt Bodnar. Our mission is to equip entrepreneurs with the strategies and tools to acquire at least one business annually and maximize their exit value.
As a key member of our team, you will support leadership with high-level executive assistance while also helping streamline operations through AI-driven automation and process optimization.
This position will also support Tom Shipley’s acquisitions platform, providing a first-hand opportunity to learn how to acquire businesses and gain exposure to real-world M&A strategies through Deal Boardroom's acquisition efforts.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy Executive Assistant & Process Automation Coordinator to support the Managing Director and Managing Partner. This role requires a strong mix of executive administration, process improvement, and light lead generation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across Deal Boardroom’s programs and operations.

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support & Operations
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director & Managing Partner, including calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization of tasks
- Manage and prioritize schedules to ensure leadership focuses on high-impact activities
- Assist in documenting processes, creating SOPs, and implementing best practices for operational efficiency
- Support Deal Boardroom’s Advisory Board communication and educational platform maintenance
Process & AI-Driven Automation
- Identify and automate routine processes using tools like Zapier, ChatGPT, HighLevel, and CRM automations
- Help optimize CRM workflows, email sequences, and data organization
- Research and test AI tools to improve efficiency (no technical background required—just curiosity and willingness to learn)
- Assist with basic website edits on our HighLevel platform
M&A Exposure & Learning
- Gain hands-on experience supporting Tom Shipley’s acquisitions platform and learning how to acquire businesses firsthand
- Assist in organizing and tracking M&A deal flow, communications, and due diligence tasks
- Participate in strategy discussions, learning how deals are structured and executed
Light Lead Generation & Marketing Support
- Support light LeadGen efforts for events like the DealCon CEO M&A Summit using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email outreach
- Assist in social media management, including content scheduling, post creation, and Canva-based graphic design
- Help track and report lead generation metrics for the Deal Boardroom Advisory Board and Accelerator programs
- Support email campaigns, copywriting, and community engagement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong decision-making abilities and ability to work independently
- Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional and positive attitude
- Interest and aptitude for learning AI-driven automation tools (Zapier, HighLevel, CRM automation, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project management tools like Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or Jira
- Knowledge of social media scheduling and Canva preferred
- Experience with Apollo, Sourcescrub, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or CRM tools is a plus (but not required)
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
