US Company with presence in Jerusalem is interested in creating an Android Tablet version of its successful Point of Sale System and needs a product manager to oversee the entire project from inception to release, and beyond.
This includes understanding the current POS and its features, and well as researching other POS software available on the Google Play Store. Working closely with our CEO, CTO and development manager, the product manager will define the feature set most appropriate for the first version of our Tablet POS, and layout the roadmap for various phases of release of functionality, starting from a Minimum Viable Product, continuing on to a fully featured, multiple market segment POS product.
The successful candidate should be able to understand the tradeoffs and limitations of local vs. cloud-based functions, and consider how this Tablet POS integrates with the rest of the NRS POS eco-system already developed, including the Merchant Portal, Merchant App, Consumer App and Merchant Web Store.
The product manager will be deeply involved in training sales and support staff, and working with the marketing department in creating both internal and public facing materials.
Requirements
3 years experience as a Product Manager in a related software industry
5 years overall experience in a related software industry
Excellent teamwork skills
Excellent documentation and presentation skills
Ability to adapt to changing product priorities and adjust and track schedules as needed
Experience working with developers, setting goals and tracking progress
Bachelor’s degree
Native Level English
