A leading news organization is looking for a part-time, junior Hebrew-to-English translator to join its team in Tel Aviv!
The successful candidate has a proven track record as a Hebrew-to-English translator, is versed in various translation styles, and is able to work well under a tight deadline.
This is a part-time position that offers relatively flexible hours, so perfect for students, working parents, and translators seeking to branch out into news media.
NOTE: This position is performed in the newsroom, not from home.
Requirements
- Applicants must be native English speakers with very strong Hebrew.
- Experience as a translator – a must.
- Experience as an editor – an advantage.
- Available to work in the afternoon/evening/Friday morning.
