We specialize in dynamic beam laser solutions based on Coherent Beam Combining Technology, giving manufacturers total control over their laser welding processes.
Our state-of-the-art facilities in Jerusalem feature clean rooms, optical laboratories, and manufacturing infrastructure. We also have an application lab for pre-trial testing. All our products are developed and manufactured in-house.
Role Description
•Design of complex opto-mechanical packaging that can deal with sub-micron tolerances.
•Develop state of the art opto-mechanical structures, mechanisms, and solutions for next generation lasers.
•Effectively implement design methodologies SRR, PDR,CDR,TRR, PRR
•Considering all performance requirements, manufacturability & cost.
•Generate design related documentation including BOMs, part and assembly drawings, engineering studies and calculation.
•Work in new technological fields to drive a concept into a prototype and then transition it into a high-volume consumer product.
•Work closely with Optical Designers and R&D department
Qualifications
•B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
•At least 5 years of mechanical design experience
•Proficient in thermal design and flow simulations
•Experience in parts machining, casting and sheet metal manufacturing techniques
•Strong knowledge in structural Analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and vibration – advantage
•Experience with opto-mechanical design – advantage
•Knowledge in optical fiber – advantage
•Experienced in Solidworks and PDM – advantage
