Position Overview
- Title: English Language and Speaking Tutor
- Dates: Aug. 6 – Aug. 22, 2023 (Sun. – Thurs.)
- Hours: Approx. 6 hours/day, 4-5 days/week
- Reports to: Director of the English Program
- Location: Shalem College, Jerusalem, Israel
Position and responsibilities
Tutoring students in English spoken conversation, correcting and explaining errors, guiding them in independent projects and providing follow-up exercises where needed.
Qualifications
- BA required
- Native-level spoken and written English
- Experience teaching or tutoring in English language
- Open-minded and intellectually flexible
- Superb interpersonal skills for work with students
- Background in the Humanities a plus
- Recommendations and/or teaching feedback
