International Foundations Officer

The Development and Public Affairs Division of Tel Aviv University is looking for someone to research, initiate, build and maintain relationships with charitable foundations and corporations worldwide.
This is a full-time (100%) office-based position.
Job description:
Identify and develop ties with foundations and corporate giving offices throughout the world
Help formulate and implement a fundraising strategy for foundations
Prepare, edit and submit grant proposals in English
Track and send follow-up correspondence and reports to donors
Collaborate with the University leadership and international Friends Associations to manage existing relationships and cultivate new ones
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree at a minimum
English at mother-tongue level (reading, writing and speaking)
Good Hebrew
A third language - a plus
Experience in markets beyond Israel & the USA – a plus
Minimum 2 years' experience in direct fundraising from foundations
Minimum 2 years' experience in grant writing in foundation format
Track record of closing gifts of $100,000 and above
Excellent communication, inter-personal and administrative skills
Strong research skills
Computer savvy; Excel
Ability to work both independently and as part of a large international team
