Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient flow of materials, products, and information across the medical device division.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, and logistics, to align supply chain activities with company goals and customer expectations.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and drive supplier development initiatives.
Develop and implement robust demand planning processes to forecast product requirements, ensuring timely procurement and production.
Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes, identifying areas for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high product quality standards throughout the supply chain.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management, incorporating relevant advancements into operational strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 2-3 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, and demand planning.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Priority.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to medical devices (e.g., FDA, ISO, etc.) and experience working in a regulated environment.
Proficient in utilizing supply chain systems, tools, and technologies to drive process optimization and data analysis.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve supply chain performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and stakeholders.
